Blue Cenote

The Bacalar Blue Cenote is one of the most impressive cenotes in the region, located just 4 kilometers south of the center of Bacalar, Quintana Roo. It is an open, circular cenote with an approximate diameter of 200 meters, surrounded by lush vegetation that makes it a natural paradise.

Emerald Cenote

Cenote Esmeralda is a natural gem located within the Bacalar Lagoon, just a few minutes from the town center. This cenote is characterized by being directly connected to the lagoon, which gives it a unique appearance by combining the deep waters of the cenote with the turquoise tones of the lagoon.

  • Depth: Approximately 70 metres, creating a fascinating contrast with the shallow waters of the surrounding lagoon.

  • Water color: It has an emerald green hue, from which its name comes, thanks to the combination of depth and sunlight.
